Oil can be used to treat wood effectively by penetrating the wood fibers, providing moisture resistance, enhancing the natural color and grain of the wood, and protecting it from damage caused by moisture and UV rays.
it is a substance
addative
NO, of course not.
there is no easy way to answer that question but i will do my best. It depends very much on how you treat it. How hard you drive it. how often you change the oil and so forth. I have owned a couple mitsubishi's and am in the car business. If you take care of them they can last fairly easily to 150,000-200,00 or maybe even more but i have also seen them at the auctions with only 100,000 and already have bad lifters or rods. A preventative oil addative that i use in all my cars is lucas oil stabilizer. Put it in with your regular oil changes and it will keep you running alot longer
That would be moisture in the oil.
Mineral oil acts as a moisture barrier to prevent the loss of moisture from the skin, keeping the skin hydrated.
Check the oil dipstick. if it is milky white that is evidence of water or moisture. also remove the oil fill cap from the valve cover and look for moisture
Yes, a Brown Duvel moisture analyzer can be used to analyze the moisture content in oil samples. The analyzer uses the Karl Fischer method to accurately measure the moisture content by titration. This method is widely used and reliable for determining moisture in a variety of samples, including oils.
