Although there is not an "age limit" to sell a screenplay (Fifth Element is a good example) - You must be of legal age (most cases: 18 years and up) to enter into a valid contract. If you are under 18 years of age (or legal age for your area) - a Parent or Guardian must enter the contract for you. If your manuscript is unsolicited - in other words - they didn't request it - you may have an uphill battle if you're younger trying to get a "Pitch" meeting - If you are one of the lucky ones to get this meeting - again - a parent or guardian is required to attend with you. Agents are not constituted as a parent or guardian - as they have an interest in the commodity - therefore - it is a conflict of interest for them to assist you. If you are under legal age and do not have a parent or guardian, your alternative is to wait until you're of legal age or file for emancipation - which is not an easy process. I hope this helped.
