There is no alternative to Adobe Flash Player that incorporates all of the features that the newest one does. The best substitute is "gnash", which currently implements most of the features of Adobe Flash Player 7 and 8. It is usable for watching YouTube videos and playing older Flash games, but is still very limited by comparison.

∙ 13y agoThere really aren't any; most of the technologies used in Flash were developed by Adobe and no one has been able to recreate all of them. The only alternative Flash player that even comes close is Gnash, and it lacks a lot of the features of Adobe Flash Player. it also doesn't have a recent Windows version; its developed mainly for Linux.
