A homogenous mixture will look like it is just one substance, mayonnaise for example. You can't distinguish the individual components, it looks the same throughout. A heterogeneous mixture will be more like a salad. You can see the individual ingredients, it doesn't look the same throughout.

WHAT IS COMMON PROPERTIES DO SOLUTION HAVE?

Solutions are homogenous mixtures composed of a solvent and solute. They exhibit properties such as transparency, uniformity, and do not settle upon standing. Solutions also have consistent composition throughout, which allows for easy mixing of solutes with solvents.

What is homogenous data?

Homogeneous data is information that is collected from a variety of sources. This information is categorized and organized for easy use.

Why are homogenous mixtures more dificult to separate then heterogeneous?

It rather depends what you mean by difficult. Filtering gravel from water is easy, but it's not really difficult to let salt water evaporate to leave the salt. Perhaps it seems that way because we can picture the parts of a heterogeneous mixture more easily when we are beginning our studies.

Are mixtures easy to separate?

Yes, but sometimes you need something else than just your hands

Are all mixtures easy to separate?

No, not all mixtures are easy to separate. Some mixtures, like air or saltwater, are relatively easy to separate using methods like filtration or distillation. However, other mixtures, like colloids or emulsions, can be more challenging to separate due to the small particle size and strong intermolecular forces involved.

Is the difference between a pure substance and a mixture always easy to observe?

No, the difference between a pure substance and a mixture is not always easy to observe. While pure substances have definite chemical compositions and properties, mixtures consist of two or more substances physically combined. Some mixtures can be challenging to distinguish from pure substances based on visual observations alone.
