Is there an evil spirit that can make you have an accident?

Satan, "the Dragon," and the rebellious spirit beings [angels] that followed him in his unsuccessful coup attempt against God's Government in the beginning [Rev.12], would destroy God and His creation if they could. And man, created in God's image to one day become His Family and His Children, they hate most of all.

Demon possession [unclean spirits; evil spirits afflicting human beings] are recorded in The Bible as a "run-of-the-mill" everyday occurence... especially, in the accounts of Jesus' earthly ministry.

In every case recorded, there was no good result regarding their possession of men... with the possible exception of when they were cast out.

Sometimes, demon possession caused "deafness" or the inability to talk... suggesting the takeover of certain "brain functions" in people.

In the case of "Legion"... the many unclean spirits possessing the man in "the country of the Gadarenes" [Mark 5:1]... we are told that some daring souls tried to bind the man to keep him, we might assume, from hurting himself and perhaps others. But, no chains or restraints could hold the man... the many demons evidently giving him the strength of many men.

"And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and CUTTING HIMSELF with stones." (Mark 5:5)

It's doubtful that this activity would be considered "an accident"... but, was more intentional on the part of the hateful spirit(s) within him.

Other demons tried to cause the possessed to throw themselves into fires and other venues of harms way. Again... not accidental.

Accidents are unintentional... demon possession is deliberate on the part of the unclean spirit.
