∙ 12y agoWell insulation has a higher heat tolerance than copper. So melting it would DEFINITELY NOT be the way to go. If you can, snip a piece off and slip the rubber insulation off. If you can't, get a professional. wiring is not something you should play around with. and melting is definitely worse.

I have this same problem....apparently you can replace the insulation.
Most straws will melt because they are made of plastic
The oven is not filled with insulation- it is wrapped in insulation- the hold the heat inside the oven so that food will cook.
An oven
Attempting to take a baked dish out of a hot oven, without using insulating oven gloves, will soon prove the value of insulation - burnt fingers!
I think if u put in the oven and blender u could melt it.
put it in the fricken oven
Because it's hot ..
yes it can but if it has rubber on the handles it will melt
No, cling film should not be used in an oven as it can melt, release harmful chemicals, and potentially catch fire. It is important to use oven-safe materials for cooking or reheating food in the oven.
