It was done as a live action Broadway show- with of all people Mary Martin in the title role, and a Disney Cartoon Film. Disney did NOT create the character of Peter Pan, which was writted by Sir James Barrie circa l904. Other appropriated Disney characters ( real authors in parentheses) include Mary Poppins ( P.L. Travers), Winnie the pooh ( A.A. Milne) Wind in the Willows characters by an English author Kenneth Grahame. and some others. Disney DID originate the Mckey Mouse cartoons, of course.

∙ 12y agoThere are already three movies currently released, Tinkerbell, Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure, and Tinkerbell and the Great Fairy Rescue. There is also a short movie called The Pixie Hollow Games. A fourth movie will be released in fall of 2012 called "Secret of the Wings". Its working title was " Tinkerbell and the Mysterious Winter Woods.
Well there is a new movie coming out in fall of 2011 and then there is going 2 b a live action film and Elizabeth banks might play tink

∙ 11y agoYes.. Definitely.. the title is "Quest For The Queen" but will only be released on Spring 2014.. it will be a long-wait for Tinkerbell movie fans but i guess it's worth the wait.. ^^
