Baker University is one audio engineering school in the midwest
You can take some classes online at www.FullSail.edu for audio engineering.
no you have to go to Australia
There are schools that offer little programs or certificates in audio engineering, not schools especially for that. There are lots of different ones though.
There are websites such as http://www.universaldegrees.com and www.audiocourses.com/ that both offer online degrees for audio engineering.
All the universities answer "we are", but the answer really depends on the students.I don't wish to use any particular names, but for some reason especially students of a certain AE college from Florida has been taunted by real professionals as incompetent, when they come to their studios as interns. For example some don't even know whan an XLR-cable is after spending 3 years in the college studying audio engineering.
there are different types of engineers. as an audio engineer you would be one but many people associate engineering to architect type of careers but as long as you state that you are an audio engineer there shouldn't be any confusion. engineering just means that you have a skill, art or a certain profession that requires certain knowledge.
Currently there isn't any college in Maryland that offers petroleum engineering as a major
A person can be a college athlete, but be majoring in any subject you can name. If he is an athlete, and in engineering classes, my guess is his major is engineering.
