Oh there are hundreds of auditions this year, but to audition for anything professional shows, first you'll have to be part of either the Screen Actors Guild or the Actors Equity Association if you want to do theatre. These require a certain amount of theatre acting to be done or if an audition team likes you enough, then they'll sign you on to the Actors Guild for that one production. Next, you'd have to get an agent, who will find auditions for you. Without these two things, you can't audition for any professional shows. For amateur shows, you don't have to do anything, you just have to audition.
