In Singapore, we have a Changi beach which is supposed to be haunted. Apparently, during World War 2, the Japanese massacred thousands of Chinese along the beach, causing campers to hear rifles shots, screams of terror and pain during the night. There is also a lagoon in an island called Sentosa (called previously as the Island of the Dead) which have frequent reportings of drownings and rumored to have a water ghost in the lagoon; seeking to find a subtitute to take on his "responsibility" to be a water ghost.
