Is there any difference in getting effects between 3D movies and 2D-3D converted image with the help of 3D glasses?

There is a big difference between content shot in 3D and converted content. Any 2D to 3D simulation is no more than a simulation and does not have the same realism as true 3D.
Some television manufacturers such as LG claim great results for their simulated 3D. Don't put too much faith into these claims but do get to a store where you can see real 3D and simulated 3D. You are by far the best judge to decide if it is worthwhile.
