in Stephenie Meyer's "eclipse" book? no. the name is from after the fight is over and Bella goes to Jacob's house. she tells him that he used to be her personal sun and balanced out the clouds nicely. he replied "clouds i can handle but i can't fight with an eclipse." (talking of edward. )
another possibility, less likely though is when edward kills Victoria and burns her, the purple cloud of smoke that rises might have looked a little like an eclipse, but i don't think so...
It had the second highest opening day.
No reason at all. December 28th is just as likely a day for a solar eclipse as any other.
It can happen at any time. Though its visibility depends on the observers location.
It happens every time an eclipse occurs, somewhere in the path of the eclipse. Please understand ... it's not actually the eclipse that blinds. It's more the novelty of the occasion.During an eclipse, people are tempted to stare at the sun to see what's going on. It's the staringat the sun that causes eye damage, just as it would any time of any day ... eclipse or no eclipse ...if a person stared at the sun.
None whatsoever. Sorry.
No. A lunar eclipse does not present any danger.
It can happen at any time of day - while the Sun is above the horizon, of course, otherwise you won't see a solar eclipse.
A total eclipse can happen every minute or every day
The same as at any other time of day or night during normal life. The only safety consideration we can think of that might be uniquely suited to the occurrence of an eclipse is: Watch where you're going, and don't walk around while you're observing the eclipse. The rule about not staring at the sun is equally applicable whether an eclipse is in progress or not.
"Eclipse" brought in an estimated $68.5 million opening day ("New Moon's" opening day record of $72.7 million stays intact, beating Eclipse).
There was an eclipse
