Is there any information from the book Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets that was not in the movie?

There are a whole bunch of things that are left out from the movie in the third book. Like the singing dwarves for valentines day. Informmation, like secrets about the past? They leave out lots of the things Professor Lockhart does, like "helping" Harry when people want his autograph. It also leaves out the Deathday Party, when Harry goes to the ghost party (the day he died). But if your thinking on more of the terms-secret things, or something, im not really sure.
