He found China with his father and company, Nicollo. They spent 17 years working there foor emporor Kublai Khan, they became close friends. Coming back to his home in Venise, he wrote a long novel about a voyage that took him 24 years of his life, because he discovered so many places. China, included. He was born the 15th day of September, 1254, and died Febuary 17th, 1324. He was one of the best explorers ever known. And there is still much to be said about him and his travels and dreams...
