No. There is no evidence that the Rev. Buck, who is famous for having performed the wedding of Pocahantas and John Rolfe in 1614, was in any way interested in the theatre, and in fact most clergymen were opposed to it in Shakespeare's time.

It has been suggested that a connection was the fact that Buck was one of the survivors of the wreck of the Sea Venture on Bermuda in 1609. The circumstances of that wreck are thought to have been one of the sources of Shakespeare's play The Tempest. If so, however, Shakespeare would have obtained the details of the wreck from two other survivors, William Strachey and Sylvester Jourdain, both of whom wrote accounts of the story, although only Jourdain's was published in Shakespeare's lifetime. Shakespeare could not have obtained the information from Buck, who stayed in America after the wreck and died there.

Most likely someone who noticed that Buck and Shakespeare were alive at the same time and in the same country had the romantic flight of fancy that they might have met each other, which exaggeration on repeated retelling has become the fable that they were "good friends". The suggestion does, however, seem most unlikely.
