check your fuses. Should be located near the driver side kick panel.
Is there a penny stuck in the lighter port?
If it works now, there's no particular reason it would suddenly stop working when the year changes.
The most likely reason why the interior lights of a vehicle are not working is because a fuse has blown. That is especially true if all of them are not working. Get out your owners manual. See where the fuse box is located. Find the particular fuse, and replace it.
I have a 94 PF and the dash lights, visor mirror lights, glove compartment light, and parking lights intermittently don't work. I have checked all the fuses and they were all ok. I did replace the rear right tail light, but still had the same issue. I turn the light switch to the parking light setting off and on, and it takes multiple tries before they work. Not sure why they do not consistently come on....
your car must have turbo system in it.turbo starts working at a selected RPM.

No reason at all
Yes, you can be fired, but your employer may not say that is the reason you are being fired.
The most common reason is a bulb failure. If the bulb is known working, or replacing the bulb does not cure the problem, look to the fuse, switch and wiring.
The most common reason for lights failure on 1985-88 Yamaha Virago XV 100's is battery problems. Check to see that the battery is in working condition and sufficiently charged. If the battery is fine, there may be a problem with the main fuse and the ones below the indicator panel.
