Most everything light shines on absorbs some of the light. Some of the light is reflected. A black body is the best absorber of light since it reflects none of the energy.
All substances absorb and reflect light to varying degrees. Some also transmit light.

Reflecting light is a phenomenon is which light comes back after touched to any thing... And absorption is the process in which any body absorb light... Like black body. Etc
Objects that absorb all light appear black because they do not reflect any light back into our eyes, making them appear void of color.
A spectroscope is used to view the unique spectrum of light emitted or absorbed by a substance. The instrument helps identify substances by analyzing the specific wavelengths of light absorbed or emitted, which are characteristic of different elements or compounds. By comparing the observed spectrum to known spectra, scientists can determine the composition of the substance being analyzed.
Please be more specific--there is no such thing as an "engine light". There is a Check Engine Light or Service Engine Soon light. You have to remove the instrument cluster to replace the bulb for this or any other instrument light.
Dark Matter throughout the Universe does not give off or absorb light.
The color black absorbs light and does not reflect any specific color.
All objects do. There is none that does not absorb any.
absorb means -> you put some water on the tabel and it (absorb) ... the water is not there any more
The refractive index of any substance is(speed of light in vacuum)/(speed of light in that substance) .The number is greater than ' 1 ' in any material medium.
an acid is any substance that releases hydrogen ions(in other words, single protons)when added to water. the widely accepted definition is simply:"any substance that can donate a protone." inversely, a base is defined as:" any substance that absorb a proton.
