People do; there are several beach resorts on the North Sea coast in the UK - but it is cold!
Swim with the butanding(whale sharks) and go snorkeling, go to resorts. It is quite an adventure. I've been there myself.
if you swim 100m in 60 secs then you should be able to swim 100yd(=91.44m) in 60*91.44/100=54-55sec If you swim 100yd in 1 minute you probably will be able to swim 100m in 91.44/60*100=65-66 secs. Since 100m is longer than 100yd this time will be correct provided you can swim the last 10 meters at the same speed as you swim the 100yds.
Florida has the beach ocean city, water parks, and tons of resorts. A super fun place in Florida is Orlando. Orlando has an awesome vacation site and a discovery cove where you can swim with dolphins!
no. In my world because you will freeze.Answer:The ability to swim in January makes tropical vacation resorts popular. For the more economical, indoor heated pools are an option if you live in the colder northern areas.
Since the sea is too cold to swim in, marketers of seaside resorts in the UK should make sure to advertise places which have heated swimming pools by the sea. (perhaps with poolside bars for the adults and play structures at one end of the pool for the kids). Nighttime music, shows and other events are a plus, as well.

Gordon "Butch" Stewart's voice is deep and slow, and he speaks with melodic phrasing, suggesting the sun-soaked climate of his native Jamaica, where he started Sandals Resorts, in 1981. Today, Stewart owns and runs 20 resorts under the Sandals umbrella, including the original Sandals all-inclusive, couples-only resorts, the Beaches resorts for families, and four boutique hotels. Stewart serves as company chairman, while his son Adam, 27, is now the CEO. The resorts are sprawling, with flourishes like multicolored pagodas, swim-up bars, and poolside Greek temples. One resort boasts 100 separate swimming pools. From its small beginnings, Sandals, based in Montego Bay, has grown into a multibillion-dollar company.
The beaches of Cabo San Lucas are spectacular. There are also several resorts that offer golf, swimming pools, and a wide range of recreational activities. There is also a swim with the dolphins park.
VCU does not list a swim team on their athletics page, however there is a facebook page called VCU Swim Team, and on there it states that it is "A swim team for VCU students, faculty, alumni, and facility members." Also listed on the facebook page are four invitational events the swim team will attend. So my guess is that they don't really compete as an athletic department of VCU, but instead its more like an extracurricular activity. I have provided links to the VCU athletic page and the swim team facebook page in the Related links.
