A very basic way - but mechanics have used it for years: Wait until full nighttime. Car in garage. Hood up and propped. Lights off, and start the engine. You will see any arcing.
Spray it with water while the engine is running.
Whenever an electrical contact is made or broken, an electrical spark jumps through the air between the two contact points while they are very close together but not yet, or not any longer, touching. That spark jumping is an electrical arc and the event is arcing contact. The main cause of arcing is the property of a circuit to maintain the continuity of the current, so whenever the contacts separate to break the circuit the air (or any dielectric medium that is used) ionises and continuity of the current is maintained, at least momentarily.
Get a "Spark Plug Boot Removal Tool", available at any reputable Auto Parts Store.....
Assuming you mean no spark at the spark plugs; check for spark at the coil - if you have spark, then remove the distributor cap and check the rotor and contacts for corrosion. If you don't have spark at the coil, then either the coil is bad or you have a broken wire in the system. (Coils seldom go bad but there is always that possibility). Hope this helps.
Check out Illinois Juvenile Boot Camp, they can refer you to a particular camp based on your needs. There website is http://www.teenhelponline.com/boot-camps/index.php?q=illinois
Well, there's a lot to check, but it sounds electrical- Check wires, plugs- I had a bad coil on my 2000. Open up the cowl to see if there is any arcing of the coil, wires etc. While you have it open, check the cap and rotor Astroman
first check each spark plug to see if your getting spark if there is no spark check the plug wires for any breaks in the wires also the distributor cap and rotor for wear or corrosion. also check the coil. if engine does have spark check to see if the engine is getting fuel if the engine is not getting fuel check the fuel pump. also check cylinders for compression.
check for spark
Check the crankshaft sensor. If the sensor on the Grand Voyager is bad then there wont be any spark.
Send his ass down to my office, I sort him out for you.... check ngycp.org
check your coil, and your distributor, and ditributor cap, along with all wires and connections.
Yes, there are a lot of testimonials from people who have joined a weight loss boot camp. Most savvy weight loss boot camps will include them on their website. So for any boot camp you want to attend look on their website and you can also check reviews for good indicators.
what are you trying to measure and with what type of meter? generally we check the module with a spark tester. if there is no spark with the spark tester we check the kill wires and any safety switches that may cause a no spark issue and if all that still shows no spark then we replace the module.
