Yes, you can stop signing in to Answers account by un-bookmarking the website if you have.
Sadly there will be people out there who write answers that contain swearing or inappropriate content. Programs like the Vandal Patrol monitor the site for any vandals, and stop them in action by either warning or blocking their account.

You can delete all of the items on your message board, and you can stop visiting, but beyond that I don't think there is a lot you can do. Any answers or questions you have submitted belong to Answers.com, so it's not clear what else you would want to 'erase'.
Sign in, sign out, and uncheck "Sign in Automatically"
Contact the company with your account and ask them what you need to do to stop this debit. Also I would let the merchant know as well. It is my understanding that the account owner is the one that needs to stop these transactions.

You should contact account services via internet or phone to see if they will reactivate you. If not, you'll likely have to go with another service. Hopefully the next company won't stop you from signing up because of your poor credit report.
