Yes. The good thing about snow leopards is that they tend to live in places where few humans live.
Currently, the biggest hinderance to the snow leopard population recovering is poaching of their prey (some areas have few animals for leopards to eat left)
There is also a certain amount of poaching of the leopard for its skin. There are plenty of teams trying to deal with this but due to the area it is spread over it is difficult to eradicate.
There are also retaliation killings when the leopard eats locals cattle and sheep.
There are some nature reserves set up for them (among other animals) for instance
