Yes, there are many fun things to do! Even though I am only in year 7, I know! Not only for my age, or your age, but for everyone else! Even my teacher joined in some of the fun! Below is the "Highlights" I wrote after a trip to Canberra with my class mates and the rest of the year level. ________________________________________ Canberra Highlights I would have to say there were many highlights for me. My favourite was probably the War Memorial. It was an amazing experience to see all of the people that have died over the past Wars. The way they presented all of the soldiers with a Poppy was beautiful, looking down the isle. Soon walking into the "Tomb of the Unknown Soldier" was a massive room filled with nothing but the tomb and roses. Not long after that we went for the War Memorial Parade Walk. It was nice to see all of the statues & display items along the road. I also liked Questacon. It was full of Science, fun & many activities. Once my group had a look at the science part of Questacon, we went down to the games & rides. My favourite ride/game was the slide. It was a massive vertical drop that curved horizontal. It was scary the first time but the rest were just so much fun! More highlights were Old Parliament House & Parliament House. I must say I preferred OPH because we got to see so much more than we did in Parliament House. Both the senate and the house of reps were beautiful. I also liked the accommodation. I had so much fun and bonding time with other members of year seven I did not know so well. My favourite thing we did there was the Talent Show. We performed a group singing song and it turned out great! Diane, Crysta and I also sand a song. That didn't turn out so well because I lost my voice. But it wasn't about winning, it was about having fun. My absolute favourite thing of the whole trip to Canberra was the bus ride. It was so much fun watching movies, listening to music and the best part was the fact that we could do it with our friends.
