Is there anything that can be sprayed onto an outdoor air conditioner unit or heat pump to prevent salt air corrosion?

The only way I have found to prevent salt air corrosion is to remove the salt. The product I have been using for several years is Air Conditioner Salt Remover. Before trying the product, I would simply hose down the unit with water periodically. But there were still significant signs of salt corrosion. I have been using this product for several years.
