The best suggestion would be to either have your doctor up your dose, or switch to a more potent painkiller. Oxycodone (OxyContin), oxymorphone (Opana), and morphine (MS Contin) are much more potent than hydrocodone, but also more dangerous. However, if you did switch you would be at an extremely low risk of any healt issues related to the painkillers as long as you take them as prescribed. Most people are prescribed the more potent painkillers twice a day, but as long as you do not exceed 4 times a day your body will be fine. Opana is the strongest painkiller on the market, so it's highly unlikely you'd need to exceed taking it twice a day as prescribed.
im guessing but from what i have read on the net,you can increase the effects by drinking grapefruit juice or maybe cranberry,i think it breaks down the hydrocodone faster, and from what i gather,it can almost double the effects if u drink enough grapefruit juice, and drink an hour or so before u take it...
strong pain killer.
The Substance produced that kills pain is called Endorphins
no sir it is not it is an opiate narcotic prescribed solely for pain killing and some (while not deadly ) side effects may cause your thinking n reaction to be impaired. by Corey wiggins =]
Hydrocodone is primarily used to relieve moderate to severe pain. It is an opioid medication that works by changing the way the brain and nervous system respond to pain. It is important to use hydrocodone as prescribed due to the potential for addiction and other side effects.
yes, have you ever heard of vicodin? that's hydrocodone. a narcotic pain medicine
Hydrocodone is in a group of drugs called narcotic pain relievers. The combination of hydrocodone and ibuprofen is used short-term to relieve severe pain. This medication is not for treating arthritis pain.
hydrocodone aka. sumtin like vicodin is more of a painkiller then anything and makes u calm. Demerol is like morphine. its a muscle relaxer/anti depressant and a pain killer.vicodin is the ultimate for pain killing but if u wanna feel real good demerol is my choice
There are no similarities between Concerta and Hydrocodone. Concerta, is used for ADHD, and is a stimulant. Hydrocodone is an opiate pain reliever, used for moderate to severe pain.
No, hydrocodone is a pain medication. It cannot help trichomoniasis.
Yes. Pain Mangement doctor's routinely combine Hydrocodone and Flexeril(Cyclobenzaprine) for a better pain relief. Other drugs mixed with hydrocodone to increase its painkilling ability are: Vistaril, Flexeril, Lyrica, Cymbalt and Norflex (the most effective with least effects is Norflex)
PAIN
Yes, but it is really pointless because methadone has opiate blocking properties and will block the effects of the hydrocodone. When I was on methadone, I had a root canal and got vicodin (hydrocodone) and they did absolutley nothing because of the methadone. Methadone does help with pain though.
