If you have written the essay, all but the conclusion, the conclusion should be drawn for the information you have already written. If you can't seem to do this, it may be that you don't have sufficient information in the essay.

conclusion
An introductory paragraph should state the thesis of the essay, introduce the divisions in the body paragraphs of the essay, and gain the interest of the reader. A concluding paragraph should restate the thesis and divisions of the essay and bring the essay to an appropriate and effective close
The purpose of a conclusion paragraph in an essay is to summarize the main points discussed in the body of the essay and restate the thesis statement in a more conclusive way. It helps to bring closure to the essay and provide a sense of completion for the reader.
Because if you're not, they may not be true to you, and then where would you be?
Who the readers are and what they already know
If a student had been specifically asked to write about one poet and instead wrote about a different poet, that is a serious error, however, if the essay is a good one which shows insight into the poet that this student chose to write about, I personally would accept it anyway. The real purpose of studying literature, poetry, and the art of writing, would be served anyway, even by an essay on the wrong poet, as long as it is a good essay. A bad essay on the wrong topic would be unacceptable.
