Isa:11:6: The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
Isa:11:7: And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
Isa:65:25: The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.
There is no extra-biblical evidence that Jesus ascended to heaven.
The Bible clearly indicates there will be animals in heaven. See Isaiah 65:25 and Rev. 19:14 for two examples. The Bible says they will be there as part of God's new creation, not by any act of their own.

No one knows, but my guess is that all animals go to heaven. All animals are beautiful and smart and worthy of God's grace. Unless, of course, there is no God and there is no heaven.
Whatever makes you happy, heaven is that, so if you have a favorite animal, yes.
