It literally depends on the church you go to. Almost all praise and worship God first, and then learn lessons from scripture. Some churches have Bible study groups or other small groups for fellowship. The culture, friendliness and conservatism varies by church. If the church teaches things that are not in the Holy Bible, then leave and find a Bible-based church.
