The SP and SR primers are same size, but with different cup thickness/hardness and different amount/brisance of priming compound. You will need to be vigilant in working up loads. You can use small rifle primers in place of small pistol, just not the reverse.
Never change components unless a proven manufacturer who publishes reloading data has tested it.
Federal 209A primers are hotter than Federal 209 primers and are hotter than Winchester or Remmington or CCI 209 primers. To duplicate your load when substituting Federal 209A primers in place of any other 209 primer, use 1 grain less powder for like performance.

First, the Ruger is not a German pistol, the Luger is. The weapon has a removable magazine- fill it with cartridges, place in the space in the butt of the pistol. Pull the toggle mechaism UP, which will draw the bolt to the rear. Release the toggle- bolt should go forward, loading a cartridge. Release the safety, aim, press trigger to fire.
A place which carries parts for that pistol, presumably. We'd be happy to direct you to such a place, but we can't, since we have no idea what the make and model of your pistol is.
