The 1993 Ford Aerostar is a unibody vehicle. Unlike full-frame designs, which have a separate frame and body, the unibody construction integrates the body and chassis into a single unit, providing a lighter and more rigid structure. This design contributes to better handling and fuel efficiency compared to traditional full-frame vehicles.

The 1997 Ford Aerostar van with a 3.0L V6 typically requires about 12 quarts of transmission fluid for a complete fluid change, including the torque converter. However, the exact amount can vary based on whether you're just draining and refilling or performing a full flush. Always check the owner's manual or consult a service manual for the most accurate information.
I bought a copy of a manual on Ebay (public domain I assume) that was full of diagrams and schematics of every aspect of my Ford 3000 tractor. I highly recommend if that dealer is still on Ebay. Sure has saved me some money by having it.
