Not sure but there has been a lot of rumours going around that the world will end in 2012 due to all of the disasters happening all over the world. It was said that the world was going to end in 1999 but it didn't. We can't be sure because it could end in 2 days, 1 year or even 1 thousand years who knows.
In The Bible it says that the world will end (Jesus returning) when everyone least expects it. And everyone expects it to be 2012, so that would make no sense with everybody expecting it. In my opinion it is going to be something that nobody on earth now will experience.
