I highly doubt it. The last one came out four years ago, the actors have all outgrown their parts, and I don't think that the movie producers got enough money out of the first to make a second.

I can't really answer, because you're not really being specific. There is only 1 movie for The Series of Unfortunate Events, but it has three books in it. The Bad Beginning, The Reptile Room, and The Wide Window. But, no, there is only one MOVIE version of The Series of Unfortunate Events.
I don't think there will be, unfortunately. I wanted all the books to be made into movies, but I guess it can't work out due to economy and money issues.

The time frame of the series of unfortunate events is sometime in the 1900's. The books do exhibit technology that would not have existed in that time period giving the series a little steam punk feel.
