Who knows? Considering there is an iPod touch 5, it is quite likely that there will be. Apple haven't told us that they are not creating another single iPod touch ever, so unless they replace it with something else that is completely amazing, I think they will just continue to replace each version until they are the size of a sheet of paper, don't ever use Wifi and have unlimited
