who knows? There might be at this rate. (Global Warming) If there was, about over 75% of our animals could survive without human contact.

A primordial black hole would need to have an initial mass of about 2.2 x 10^11 kilograms in order to be just disappearing now due to Hawking radiation. This is based on the time it takes for a black hole to evaporate completely through Hawking radiation, which is about 2.1 x 10^66 years for a black hole of this mass.
The formula for the Schwarzchild radius of a black hole is given by Rs = (M/Mo) x 3km. Here Mo means the mass of the Sun. For Earth, M/Mo = 0.000 003, that is, Earth has 0.000 003 x Mo. Thus Earth's Schwarzchild radius is about 1 cm. That means that if a giant squeezed Earth into a diameter less than 2cm, it would be a black hole.
nope...2008 has already been and gone! i am quite sensetive person and only 13 years old...im veryy scared and worried about all the things people are saying about the black hole being created by that machine they built in switzerland!! i was cryin most of the day because everyone was talkin about how it might kill us all...and now they are saying that everyone is going to die in 2012 because of the mayen calender ending! but i really hope and want to believe that this wont happen!!!
In Jan 1987, John Cormedy of Dominion Astrophysical Observatory in Canada discovers the balck hole in Galaxy Andromeda and estimated that the diameter of black hole in Andromeda Galaxy is 10 million times as massive as the Sun.
The mass of a mini black hole with a diameter equal to that of a proton (1.0 x 10-15 meters) would be extremely small, approximately 2.2 x 10-8 kilograms.
As of March 2008, the biggest black hole ever found is 10 billion times the size of our sun, and is located over 300 million light years away.
There is no theoretical limit to the MASS of a black hole. The largest known black holes have a mass in excess of a billion solar masses... so far. In the distant future, you can expect them to continue growing. The DIAMETER or the RADIUS of a black hole is directly proportional to the black hole's mass; the radius would be about 3.0 kilometers for every solar mass. The diameter, of course, is twice as much. Thus, a black hole of 10 billion solar masses would have a radius of 30 billion kilometers... about 200 AU.
