Super Mario Galaxy is, presumably due to the lack of sequel pointers, a lone game, no prequels. And who knows, Nintendo may just make a Super Mario Sunshine 2. But there may be a chance but it wont have the same name but Il Piantisimo will be back with the magic paint brush he found!
