The pressure or discomfort most women feel associated with pregnancy is usually due to roound ligament pain, stretching of the ligaments that support the uterus. It usually comes and goes and is not severe. If the pain does not go away, is on one side only, or is severe you might have a tubal or ectopic pregnancy which is a medical emergency. Having had a C-Section could cause more discomfort due to the scar tissue present from the surgery.
