yes there is various minerals in it, the sea water is a certain temp for certian animals,
its called the "dead sea" for a reason -__- too much salt will kill anything
It is more salty than the average sea.
Most unlikely. If sea levels reduce the oceans will become more salty.
Dead Sea.
'Deaad Sea; means that there is no life in the sea. Reason; it is too salty to support any life form, even those that are found in the 'salty' oceans.
For the same reason it is salty now. Rivers flow into it but not out and there is a high rate of evaporation.
All seas and oceans are salty. Those near the Equator tend to be slightly more salty.
noo oo
The Baltic Sea is known as Brackish, that is a little more salty than fresh water, but not as salty as sea water
The dead sea is getting more salty. Like all seas, rivers which carry bits of sedimentary rock, enter the sea and "dump" whatever they carried on its journey to the sea. As you may well know, there is salt in this sedimnetary rock. The dead sea is more salty that others for a fews reasons: * Higher salt content in rocks & soil * More rivers entering sea
The Dead Sea is very salty because it has no outlet for water to flow out. Water evaporates from the sea, leaving behind salt and minerals, which makes the water more concentrated and salty.
Normally the word "sea" is synonymous with the term ocean - in which case they would have the same salinity. However one can also use the term "sea" to describe a salty inland lake (e.g. the dead sea). In many cases inland seas are more salty than the oceans.
