Yes and no. There are all sorts of indigenous beliefs. Most of them tend to worship a variety of gods or spirits, but there is an underlying thread of monotheism among a lot of tribal traditions. It is common for them to have a name for the "original" or "greatest" God or creator, even if they do not deal with or pray to this God.
"Eternity in Their Hearts" is a very well-researched book about the underlying monotheism in religion among primitive or indigenous peoples.
Hinduism is not credited to any particular founder. It is an indigenous religion.
Technically Buddhism is not a religion and it has no god.
The belief in one God is called monotheism. A religion that believes in one God is said to be monotheistic.
No it is not religion at all.
No religion can teach you to be GOd, God is like no other you can never be God. Answer: Yes there is one religion completed cycle of messenger or son of God or Avtara and said yes you can become God and Creator.
All religions are counted as the indigenous religion in the area where they where started/created. Hinduism is the religion of India and is still in current practice. As such it is deemed the indigenous religion of India. In the same way, Judaism and Christianity are indigenous to Palestine, and Islam is indigenous to the Hejaz. Buddhism might be considered indigenous to Uttar Pradesh, but it is no longer much practised there.
Time and again when missionaries take their religion away from indigenous people, the people also lose their culture. Without their ancient culture and the religion that underpins it, indigenous people can become culturally lost, depressed and without purpose. This can lead to alcohol abuse and social problems - all so that Christians can feel proud of 'saving' some souls.A disadvantage of indigenous religion is highlighted by Nelson Mandela in his autobiography, Long Walk to Freedom. As a follower of traditional religion, there was little prospect of him receiving a proper education in South Africa. He was required to become a Christian so that he could be accepted into Christian schools and receive a good education.Another disadvantage of indigenous religion is one that, in my opinion, it shares with all religions. This is that there is no basis, no God or gods, no Creator and no afterlife.
no
