In its simplest form yes and no, there is no irrefutable proof that there where female pastors but there is Good evidence to suggest there may have been in Romans 16 Paul commends several women to the church in Rome. in particular Phoebe. He also mentions Priscilla and Aquila who run a house church. But please note this is a very debated area with no simple or quick answers
I don't remember the word "Pastor" in the Bible, but you have prophetesses (Miriam, Moses' sister) and Deborah, who was a judge. There are also women disciples of Jesus.
Yes
USA
No as the bible in the book of Timothy states ladies are not supposed to even teach the word of god. As it was Eve who led Adam astray. You will not find female pastors in tradition churches.
Yes, though not many. There are several lady miinisters, and several female ordained ministers who are typically not pastors, or are missionairies. There are a few UPC female pastors, though.
Ask them... My guess would be seminary school
Depending on the sect, women can do anything men can! They can be pastors, priests, educators....
The bible says nothing about pastors. Apostles are the biblical equivalent to pastors or priests. Apostles are just people to spread and teach the word of god. There is no limit to how many people can teach you the word of god.
Because they are lonely. If they had their own mate, they wouldn't have to run after the pastor. Pastors also have to be very discerning and stop entertaining women that they know may have eyes for him.
Women have already been pastors and ministers since at least the 1980s. I don't know what you mean by "in these last days"...the world will continue for billions of years, long after we are all dead.
The pentocostals and the Anglicans have in recent year allowed women to be ministers and pastors.
FINALLY!! about time we started enforcing our laws!!Another response:Our pastors and religious professionals are deeply concerned that SB 1070 could be applied in such a way as to criminalize our worship services, prayer meetings, Vacation Bible School, Women's Study Groups and other activities. The community of faith simply cannot require proof of legality before welcoming people into our fellowship.
