Why should people protect the ecosystem?
Because like us and every other forms of life, they are a part of an ecosystem that need to be balanced. Usm, human, have screwd up many species and habitat and now we try to lower the effect we have on them and protect the endangered species. Everytime a specie goes extinct it's a big loss for biodiversity but also for us, because we don't know when it will be our turn. It may seems not important that some animal stop to exist somewhere but eventually it will have big effects on environnement.
