No.
Christmas was celebrated by Christians before, but now almost everyone celebrates Christmas! It was celebrated by the Christians because it was the day Jesus Christ was born! It is done in order to retain the remembrance of Jesus, and also exalt him!
Nordic countries tend to celebrate Christmas in the evening on December 24 which is Christmas Eve. Nordic people in Europe have done this since before Christianity adopted the holiday.

Yes, almost all the holidays are dedicated to God, it is just that they modified it so that Non-Christians can celebrate. All the feasts and solemnities that the Church celebrates is in memory of the Saints which have done the will of God. Most of the holidays are in a way related to God. Christmas is the birthday of Jesus, we believe in trinity so it is the birthday of God the Son, Easter is when Jesus, God the Son rose from the dead, hallow's eve in the Catholic Church is All Saints Day where we celebrate all the saints which have done God's will and so forth. So we Catholics celebrate God through the feast day of Saints who have done God's will, and through the days celebrating Jesus. We also celebrate God by giving him praise and worship, and thanking him for all he has done for us.
Christians celebrate Maundy Thursday. Customs vary; some do ceremonial washing of the feet. Strictly speaking, the Passover is not a Christian celebration at all but Jewish. Some Christians do celebrate it but it is not done so as a specifically Christian festival but in order to understand and appreciate and remember what God did for the Israelites so long ago.
Jesus came to save people and rise from the dead. So his coming to Earth and his rising from the dead are important events. Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus at Christmas. At Easter, they celebrate Jesus rising from the grave. Although it is not as widely celebrated as Christmas, Easter is the most important of the two events, and is the most important event in Christianity.
Believe it or not some Christians like me are not really sure what to do with Christmas, or Christ Mass. I am a reformed protestant Christian that thinks we should give Christ Mass back to the Roman Catholic Church and be done with it. It was invented by a pope in the third or fourth century to appease newly converted pagans who were accustomed to celebrating winter solstice and Mithra. So what should Christians do at Christ Mass? Serve others, just like Jesus did. Feed the poor, comfort the destitute, clothe the naked, love thy neighbor. But come to think of it that's what we are called to do every day of the year.
not everyone. some religions do not celebrate Christmas. Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe that Jesus was born on December 25. Note: Muslims celebrate Christmas because they believe in Jesus( or as the call Esa) to be a messenger of god and a prophet. |However, they d not believe he was born on 25th December but celebrate it as remembering him, not necessarily his birth. She is a poser and has really bad pictures. She is supposedly a Christian because she confesses her faith, but she makes Christians look bad because she is such a hypocrite.
To be nice and share your happiness wth other people. It is done out of the goodness of peoples hearts. It is said that the tradition of gift-giving among Christians at Christmas comes from the New Testament account of the Nativity which recounts the visit to the infant Jesus by the Magi (more commonly known as the Three Wise Men) who brought gifts to the holy child.
I have done a bit of research on the subject but I'm afraid I was unable to find many origami shapes that can be used for both Christmas and Halloween. Perhaps You could use a 3D star for both holidays and maybe a dove for Christmas could be colored black and turned into a bat for Halloween.
Brazilians celebrate various things. For example, they might celebrate the national soccer team winning the world cup (which they have done 5 times).
