The moon doesn't have soil like the kind found on Earth. Most of the moon's surface is covered with what is called regolith. This is a combination of fine dust and debris from rocks that was produced when meteors hit the moon.
once the moon had a sister( the earth had 2moons ) it so happened that these 2 moons dashed with each other and the mountains were formed
Sand
Dust
I dont really know
There is no soil on the moon.
Regolith
Sedimentary rocks are formed by the weathering, erosion and then deposition of the resultant clasts. Weathering and erosion do not occur on the moon (except to a limited extent due to the impact of meteorites but this material is not compacted so is a dust rather than a rock) so sedimentary rocks can't form.
Magnets do not play any role in erosion. Glaciers are ony of many things that cause erosion.
because the moon has no oxygen and water to have weathering or erosion
For a new moon to occur the moon must be between earth and the sun
A Solar Eclipse can only occur at a NEW MOON. Similarly a Lunar Eclipse can only occur at a FULL MOON.
it doesn't happen on the moon ... there no wind , water or any thing else that causes erosion on the moon :)
There is no wind or rain
No because there is no wind or water on the moon
Erosion can not happen on the moon, because there is no wind or clouds in the atmosphere.
No because there is no wind or water on the moon
Air, water, wind, rain, weather, snow, etc. None of those.
This is correct. The moon has no atmosphere. This fact, along with the fact that thus far, no evidence of water has been found on the moon, contributes to the reason why rock erosion does not occur on the moon.
erosion occur outside because water and wind cause erosion
Due to the Moon's low gravity, it cannot hold in an atmosphere, meaning it cannot have weather. This means erosion cannot occur, making craters, footsteps, etc. never disappear. It also means it cannot rain at all on the Moon.
No weather on Moon.
water erosion
soil erosion mostly occur in hilly areas, coastal areas etc.
