When you got your mp4, you should have received a plug with it as well. At the bottom of your mp4, there should be a slot. That slot is used to plug in the skinny thing on the cord you received with your mp4. At the other end of the cord, there should be something that looks like the thing that is on a usb drive. With the thing that looks like the end of a usb drive, plug that into your computer, where the usb drive thing you plug it into, and then use the skinny thing at the other end of the cord and plug that into the mp4.
