In the history of Indians there are many different traditions. For example the Navajo would eat animals that were hunted on horseback and vegetables they grew in their gardens. Navajo's also herded sheep.

Other examples of Indian cuisine would be corn, squash, beans, Corn, milkweed, chicory plants, different wild weeds, ect...
