Yes, there is definitely sandpaper, and in mind boggling variety. I have over 100 kinds of sandpaper in one of my toolboxes. The common size is the same as a sheet of note paper -8 1/2 x 11 inch. and it comes with many kinds of backing paper and many more kinds of abrasive from very fine at 1000 grit right down to very rough at 40 grit. There are shaped sheets to fit many sanding machines and huge very strong ones to fit floor sanders. There are dry use sheets, wet use sheets and sheets to use with oil,

-and that's only 'scratching the surface.
