Yosemite is cold in the winter and spring, with snow until early spring. Summer and fall are warm in Yosemite and the waterfalls tend to run dry in the summer time.
Yosemite gets about 37 inches of rainfall each year. It should be noted that some of this may fall as snow.

I believe there are three of them.
Yosemite Falls does not fall off El Capitan; rather, it is located in Yosemite Valley, approximately a mile from El Capitan. Yosemite Falls cascades from a height of 2,425 feet, making it one of the tallest waterfalls in North America. The falls flow in a generally westward direction into the valley below. El Capitan, on the other hand, is a prominent granite cliff located nearby, known for its climbing routes.
There are an abundance of activities to do in Yosemite National Park, much more than just three. If I were to choose three of the best activities, it would be hiking the trails around the park, horseback riding, and going for a dip in the river in the valley.
