It could be like if someone goes back in time and then kills someone but that would still require another weapon so it could assist a weapon.well if u go back in time & kill someone like Hitler,then maybe the cause of making the "time machine" will cease to exist.there for you didn't go back in time ,that means Hitler is still alive so u went back in time to kill Hitler ,then the "time machine" will cease to exist,so u didnt go back in time to kill Hitler & its goes back & forth until u end up in a parallel universe where there are millions of Hitlers & millions of u AND EVERYTHING EXPLODES BECAUSE YOU JUST HAD TO GO BACK IN TIME TO KILL HITLER,GOOD FOR U
