Tomatoes do have seeds which to some people make this a fruit but tomatoes are vegetables. If you think about tomatoes aren't the only veggies with seeds. If it's sweet then it makes it a fruit.

∙ 12y agoIm not an expert but im pretty sure a tree is a plant...but i know what you mean. Im guessing a tomato is a bush because the actual tomato is considered a berry, So I would say it is a bush or a shrub. I dont think it would be a tree because they dont get that tall.
Tomato plants are actually vines but some are called bush varieties because the vines have been bred to be sturdy and to stand on their own.

Fruit , some say since it isn’t sweet, so they say veggie. But, bittermelen is a fruit and is very bitter, not sweet.
