Absolutely exhilerating! Compare riding in a Cadilac 400 miles on the thruway to Grandmothers house to Driving a vintage scooter 400 miles to Grandmother's house on back highways. The scooter, Grama and the back roads have stories to tell, they are all rich with history, the back roads, the vespa and Grama! They all could tell a story of their lives, the people they knew and the places they have been. They are alive, just like you are when you hop on that scooter, feel the leather seat beneath you, slide the key into the ignition, turn on the gas, pull the choke in, kick the starter lever and wonder how quickly it will start. The scooter rumbles to life, you can feel it thru your body. You mechanically pull in the clutch lever and turn the handlebar to select first gear, you skillfully slip the clutch lever out while giving it some gas and your "girl" carries you away on an "adventure" to grama's house. It becomes a journey that you are a part of, that you will never forget. Oh how wonderful, all your senses are awakened as you cruise your faithful little scooter all the way to Grama's house smelling fresh clean air and seeing brand new sights. You arrive like a pioneer explorer with "new" strories to tell all about your brave Journey. Oh, it is sooo much more than a ride to Gramas house, so much more......FUN. Dave Bentley
