pretty much. it starts of just about Bella, her dad and her vaguely average life. reasonably quickly edward comes along and woo's her. she is mad at him at first though because he will not tell her how he stopped an out of control van from crushing her. 'the cullens' then come into the story. this all carries on rather nicely UNTIL the American nomads come along, James (a sadistic vampire and a very gifted 'tracker') catches Bella's scent and hunt down Bella. edward saves her by sucking venom from a vampire bite.
