yes it is good for reindeer
Well, at Santa's Workshop the Santa's elves feed each one their favorite treats...uncooked oatmeal!!! So, on Christmas Eve ask your parent(s) if it is okay to throw some uncooked oatmeal on your lawn! Oh, and to make sure Santa's reindeer see the oatmeal you could put some glitter in it also. P.S. It's okay if they don't eat ALL of your scrumpcitous food.
Yes but... ...some commercially made oatmeal does have gluten in it because it is prepared on equipment that work with other grains. So if the person ingesting has a gluten allergy they could have an adverse reaction, but they would have a reaction cooked or uncooked.

Yes
One ounce of uncooked oatmeal typically yields about 2 to 2.5 ounces of cooked oatmeal, depending on the cooking method and the amount of water or milk used. This means that 1 ounce of uncooked oats generally results in approximately 1/2 to 3/4 cup of cooked oatmeal. Cooking oats causes them to absorb water and expand, increasing their volume significantly.
